Terms and Conditions of Sale

I would like to make you aware that in using the website you are agreeing to comply with the following Terms and Conditions:


All orders and transactions between Knick Knacks Attic and the customer are accepted on these conditions of sale only. It is the responsibility of the customer to read such conditions before entering upon a transaction.


Knick Knacks Attic trading terms and conditions shall apply to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions, unless an agreement is in writing and signed by a representative of Knick Knacks Attic and the Customer.


Knick Knacks Attic may vary, without any liability, the content of the site, including quotations, sales literature or other documents as long as such alterations do not materially affect the quality of the goods.

All products are handmade, as such Knick Knacks Attic shall endeavour to match the colour, style and positioning on each item however Knick Knacks Attic is unable to guarantee an exact match.


All prices quoted on Knick Knacks Attic social media are in British Pounds Sterling and are excluding postage. This cost shall be quoted to the customer prior to acceptance.

Knick Knacks Attic is entitled to increase the price of goods at any time prior to printing the product(s) due to factors beyond our control, however once the product(s) has been made Knick Knacks Attic will honour the price as per the email agreement with the customer.


Quotes are valid for a period of 30 days unless otherwise agreed in writing by Knick Knacks Attic. A quote is a separate agreement between Knick Knacks Attic and the customer and as such the customer is not entitled to any further discount as advertised on the social media we use.


The customer shall pay for all goods prior to dispatch, inclusive of personalised items, unless otherwise agreed in writing between Knick Knacks Attic and the customer.

Should an agreement be accepted between Knick Knacks Attic and the customer, Knick Knacks Attic is entitled to invoice the customer for payment on or at any time after dispatch of goods.

The customer shall make payment prior to works commencing. Payment is to be made either by PayPal or WorldPay on our website.

In making payment the customer is within agreement that they are the account holder and that sufficient funds are held to honour the payment.

Cancellation & Refunds

No goods are sold to the customer on a sale or return basis. The customer has no right to reject or return the goods without the consent of Knick Knacks Attic.

You can cancel your contract at any time up to 14 days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail or write to us. We are unable to accept cancellations by phone.

You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

If you cancel, you must return the goods within 30 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging to us and/or our supplier (or any other UK address specified by us), at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.

You may properly examine the goods for 14 days however you may not return any goods that have been used unless they are faulty.

You must return the items via a traceable postage method whereby a signature from us is required on receipt of your return. We are not responsible for parcels sent without tracking attached to them and will not take responsibility for any returns that do not arrive to us at the specified address.

 If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

We will refund all monies paid to us by you excluding any postage / carriage within 30 days, less any costs due under this contract.

Business customers, or customers exempt from the distance selling regulations may not cancel an order without our mutual agreement.

As some goods are personalised a 'cooling off' period is not applicable. Personalised items may not be exchanged or refunded should the customer request an incorrect detail at time of order.

This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights - for example, if goods are faulty.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Faulty and Damaged Goods

If there is a problem with the goods, please notify us by email or in writing providing details of the problem. It is helpful if you can provide us with a digital photograph of the problem as this normally saves you having to return the goods for inspection. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.

If an exchange is deemed necessary, this will be arranged without unreasonable delay and without charge. Replacement goods will not be dispatched until the original goods have been received at our registered address and inspected. The cost of returning goods to us is your responsibility. If the goods are not faulty, we will return them to you, however you will be required to cover our reasonable postage costs.

If an item is no longer available we will offer an alternative. However our liability will be to replace the faulty goods only and we are unable to guarantee an exact match. In this instance you will have the option of a refund.

Where we replace faulty goods you are responsible for their disposal if they have not previously been returned to us.

We are unable to guarantee an exact colour match due to the nature of the product.


Knick Knacks Attic shall endeavour to make amendments to requested orders as timely as possible. However if this request is received after the product has been made Knick Knacks Attic shall not be liable for the cost of a remake.

Resale of Products

Knick Knacks Attic is a privately owned business and independent brand. To protect our intellectual property rights, resale of our products for personal or business profit is strictly prohibited (unless otherwise agreed, for example an official Trade Stockist account agreement is held between Knick Knacks Attic and the customer). Any orders found to be carrying the characteristics of for the use of a resale will be cancelled immediately and we reserve the right to cancel any subsequent orders. We will not ship to any known freight forwarders and any orders placed with these as delivery addresses will be cancelled in full.

Trade or Business Customers

The following conditions apply to orders placed by Trade or Business Customers.

Orders may not be cancelled except with our mutual agreement and having been confirmed in writing.

We reserve the right to make cancellation and/or re-stocking charges.

Claims for missing or damaged items must be made within 2 days of delivery.


Any dates provided for delivery are approximate only.  

We post on Fridays and Saturdays, usually.  Local delivery is available for orders over £5.00.

Outside of peak season, turnaround from order is generally five working days, which does not include weekends.  During peak season, especially October-December months, turnaround can be up to ten working days. Knick Knacks Attic is not responsible for the timely receipt of goods once dispatched to the customer. As such, late deliveries will not be refunded, and payment will be pursued.

Orders not received within 7 working days of dispatch must be reported to Knick Knacks Attic by email. Failure to notify us within this period may result in Knick Knacks Attic not accepting any responsibility for items dispatched and not delivered/received.
